Babou Secka is an agriculturalist who specializes in crop production and sustainable farming. He holds a Higher National Diploma in Agriculture (HND) from the Gambia College School of Agriculture and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Crop Production at the University of The Gambia.
He gained practical experience during a three-month industrial attachment at the Kuntaur Mixed Farming Center, where he developed hands-on skills in crop management, soil fertility, and modern farming practices.
Additionally, Babou conducted research on the timing of fertilizer application and its effects on okra growth and yield, which enhanced his technical knowledge in agriculture.
At The Soil Solution, Babou is dedicated to promoting soil health, increasing crop productivity, and supporting sustainable agricultural development.
