The Soil Solution Achieves International NGO Registration in The Gambia

The Soil Solution is pleased to announce that it has officially been approved and registered as an International Non-Governmental Organisation (INGO) by the NGO Affairs Agency under the Ministry of Lands and Regional Government Affairs of the Republic of The Gambia.
This important milestone marks a new chapter in the organisation’s growth and reflects its continued commitment to restoring soil health, advancing sustainable agriculture, strengthening climate resilience, and improving livelihoods through science-driven and community-centred solutions.
Since its establishment, THE SOIL SOLUTION has worked alongside farmers, researchers, government institutions, development partners, and local communities to address the growing challenges of soil degradation, declining agricultural productivity, and climate change. Through research, farmer training, soil health assessments, maintenance and productivity, policy engagement, and strategic partnerships, the organisation has promoted practical solutions that support sustainable food systems and environmental restoration.
International NGO registration provides a stronger platform for THE SOIL SOLUTION to expand its programmes, deepen collaboration with national and international partners, mobilise additional technical and financial resources, and contribute more effectively to sustainable development initiatives across The Gambia, West Africa, and beyond.
Commenting on the achievement, Ebrima Jarra, Executive Director of The Soil Solution, said:

The Soil Solution expresses its sincere appreciation to the Government of The Gambia, particularly the NGO Affairs Agency under the Ministry of Lands and Regional Government Affairs, for recognising the organisation as an International NGO.
